In this episode I walk you through how to determine what should be a yes and what should be a no in business and how to say no with grace. The ability to make smart decisions in business is vital so here&#8217;s my best tips.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none\" src=\"\/\/html5-player.libsyn.com\/embed\/episode\/id\/13404485\/height\/90\/theme\/custom\/thumbnail\/yes\/direction\/backward\/render-playlist\/no\/custom-color\/B65657\/\" height=\"90\" width=\"100%\" scrolling=\"no\"  allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen oallowfullscreen msallowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><strong>Here\u2019s the highlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[1.52] What needs our no: does this fit physically, financially, emotionally, and spiritually?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[2.09] We need to weigh up these different areas of our lives and see whether something is going to fit best. If something feels really good financially, but it\u2019s going to be super emotionally draining, we\u2019re not going to get the financial reward that we originally weighed up because we\u2019re not passionate about it. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[2.32] We should never make a business decision simply for profit sake. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[4.18] If we go into a decision that is emotionally draining, we will bring that negative emotion to the situation. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[7.53] We can\u2019t say yes, simply because we\u2019re afraid to say no.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[8.18] Have a think about: why are you not saying no? Or why are you struggling to say no? <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[8.40] We need to be firm on <span style=\"text-decoration:underline\">why<\/span> we\u2019re saying no.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[9.02] We\u2019re actually doing people a disservice by saying \u201cyes\u201d to something that needed our \u201cno\u201d. I\u2019m learning that I am not the only answer. For example, with blog &amp; Pinterest work, there are so many other blog &amp; Pinterest managers out there. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[9.37] If we say \u201cyes\u201d to everything eventually we will not be giving our best. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[9.47] When we say \u201cno\u201d, it\u2019s actually not always a forever decision. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[10.37] Weigh up your option and the consequences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">[11.15] Once I\u2019ve weighed up my options and the consequences, I make the decision.
